What People Are Saying
from Google"Great coffee. The espresso beans are nicely roasted, not harsh and oily like other places. The pour over options are great. The pour over I had rivaled my favorite Panama geisha. They have a cute little pine newspaper. They also have beans for sale."
"Pine is one of the best coffee shops in Boise! Great staff, quality coffee(seasonal drinks are top tier), convenient parking and an inviting atmosphere. I remember my first time visiting Pine, the owner was doing some work on the lights and asked if I could switch seats. No biggie! He then came back after with a gift for the inconvenience. I was so impressed by the gesture. You can’t beat quality coffee and kind people."
"Nice place! The staff were quite friendly, even bringing items to my table and proactively giving me the wifi password. The breakfast burrito was quite delicious and I enjoyed my carmel latte. One note is that the indoor seating it a bit limited (mostly tables for two) but it’s easy enough to sit together at the bench seat or put two tables together."
"I stopped into Pine Coffee after my doctor's appointment today. I have passed them a few times going home from work but today I had a couple extra minutes before I headed to work so I stopped in to grab my afternoon caffeinated beverage. Parking on this area is so much more convenient than parking in the heart of downtown. I got myself a front row spot that was nicely shaded. That shaded spot is prime parking! The first thing you notice about the joint is the big windows of this venue. I love all the views you can enjoy while sipping on your drink from inside. And I appreciate the tables they had outside. You can enjoy your drink out in the nice weather like some of their customers were doing. Walking in, this venue is small. I actually love the size of it, it's quite personal. There is a big coffee bar you can sit at by the espresso machine. There were plenty of tables to chill at. And the big windows let in so much natural lighting. I love the simplicity of this space, it's not overwhelming like some shops are downtown. I was greeted by a handsome face behind the counter. I ordered my usual drink, a small iced americano with room for cream with him. I did ask for their sugar free options but none were available. The sweet barista did offer to make a honey syrup for my drink and I took her offer on it! I'll take honey any day. My drink was fabulous. It was perfectly balanced in espresso, water, honey and half and half. I did add my own packet of sweetner for a little extra kick of sweetness. I do like my drinks a little sweeter but I don't want the extra syrup so it's perfect. They made me a great cup of coffee! I wish this joint was a little closer to the salon I work at. I walk to a lot of different coffee spots by us and Pine would totally be one I'd hit up. I will have to leave my house a little earlier so it gives me a couple extra minutes to stop by this place to get my morning drink. I look forward to stopping by for more afternoon pick me ups soon."
"Pine has some the best, if not the best, coffee in the area. I have been to 60 different coffee shops in the Treasure Valley and have yet to find a cup of coffee that is as exciting and delicious as what they offer. Expect to pay up to $14 for one of their premium pour-over coffees. They may seem expensive, but they are totally worth it to me. I highly recommend the Fun - 11 Colombia El Diviso! Even their batch brew coffee is over the top. Their pastries are limited to a few varieties of waffles but they're pretty yummy though."
