I paid almost twenty dollars for a basic breakfast burrito and a drip coffee (poured myself)… which already felt like daylight robbery. But the real kicker? They automatically set a minimum 25% tip on the receipt. Barely a choice. Just “surprise you’re tipping us 25% whether we earn it or not.” And here’s the ironic part: if you’re going to demand a quarter of my bill as a tip, at LEAST know who the burrito is for when it comes out. I stood there watching them look around the café like they were trying to solve a mystery worthy of a crime show. It’s a breakfast burrito, not a missing person.
