What People Are Saying
from Google"I was hopeful for their donuts! CDA needs a great donut shop again, especially one open on Sundays! I went in first on opening week. I was not greeted by anyone working, and there were only two flavors of donuts left. I left without trying anything, and thought I'd give them another chance later. I've heard from other people that they thought pricing was pretty steep for their donuts. I received a promotional text a few weeks ago saying they've adjusted their pricing, and a text yesterday that drew me in for buy one get one free. I decided to try today. I especially love a maple bar. I tried a Bavarian cream and maple bar. They were pretty dense. My maple bar was doughy in the middle and had too much icing (in my opinion). The Bavarian cream was ok, I didn't love the chocolate icing on it, but it was better than the maple bar. I tried calling their shop 5 times with no answer, and their voicemail hasn't been set up. I decided to call another Union location to let them know about the doughy maple bar, as I hope they would want to know what they're serving. Unfortunately, I didn't find the quality I was hoping for and I'll be sticking to Safeway's maple bars."
"Local Reviewer here 😎 Phenomenal doughnuts!! 🍩 Like WAY better than even the infamous Doughnut House in Hayden (back when it was good). So glad we have an awesome place to grab a quick treat and coffee in CDA. Highly recommend if you want to treat yourself to fun and REALLY TASTY doughnuts. Bravo 👏 Service was a bit lack luster...especially given how many fun flavors, we figured the service would be a bit more excited for as good as this place is."
"BLVD Doughnuts – Worth the Sin Most doughnut shops sell sugar bombs engineered to make dentists rich. BLVD Doughnuts, though? They play a different game. The strawberry ricotta was fluffy enough to make me question if I’ve been eating packing foam disguised as doughnuts my whole life. The savory cream in the middle; God’s little reminder that maybe gluttony isn’t the worst of the seven sins. The pistachio? Same story. Airy, nutty, dangerously easy to inhale without realizing you’re already planning the next visit. My wife went old-school with a chocolate sprinkle and announced it was the best she’s ever had. Which, considering she’s usually more critical than a French food critic on a bender, says something. The icing didn’t smear all over like a cheap one-night stand; it was clean, balanced, and actually tasted like chocolate. BLVD doesn’t just make doughnuts. They ruin other doughnuts for you. This place is the kind of spot you tell yourself you’ll only visit once a week… then find yourself sneaking back like it’s an affair. Only difference? Your mistress here is fried dough, and she doesn’t text you at 2 a.m. asking for cab fare. Great food deserves great company. "I have had their donuts a handful of times now and they are absolutely delicious. I love going to work here. The atmosphere is great and it’s always clean. Union coffee is by far my favorite coffee shop I have ever been to and the donuts are just the icing on the cake!"
