"Can brings dogs but not kids ? Almost ever bar in Idaho you can have kids there as long as they don’t sit at the bar. This place definitely gets a 1 star. What dog place doesn’t allow kids? Meridian is know for family attractions, they need to change this. Or I will have law enforcement make sure everyone is getting home safe from this place."

"The IPA team is wonderful. We have the monthly membership for our pup and he loves it here. The prices are reasonable and they keep the facility impressively clean. I appreciate their focus on the safety of the animals with all dogs requiring up to date vaccinations and the separate play area dogs can head to if they are nervous. I have been coming here for a few months and have not seen any issues between dogs (other than the usual playful roughousing). You can tell the owners and staff really care about the experience for you and your dog! The coffee is great and they have a large selection of beer, kombucha, and other drinks. It's so nice to be able to relax with a drink and let the dogs play together knowing it's a 21+ only facility. Our pup loves all the staff too! He likes to follow them around and they all treat him like family. If you haven't been out yet, definitely come give IPA a try!"

"Most of the negative reviews I see here are from those who don’t read the rules ahead of time and refuse to abide by them. We have been going to IPA since it opened. I have two very small dogs and they have always been safe. The staff is very knowledgeable of dog behavior and the animals are happy, as are the people. It’s also incredibly clean and the turf is much better for the dogs from what I have seen at other places. I also appreciate that this place is adults only as children do not always know how to act with dogs and can cause problems. One of my dogs is very nervous but is small so children think they can just grab him - I don’t have to worry about that here. The health requirements are for the good of everyone. It’s not IPA’s fault if your dog isn’t fixed or up to date on shots. The food is great, the drink selection is great, and you’re paying a membership fee for a PREMIUM experience and peace of mind. If you want a chaotic atmosphere with no on-leash areas and kids running around everywhere, go to other similar venues or public dog parks in the Treasure Valley. Otherwise, perhaps actually set foot into IPA before you criticize it and can give a fair assessment."
