What People Are Saying
from Google"Went to The Griddle recently while on a little trip to Meridian/Boise area. I’ve tried their Boise location but this was the first time trying their new Meridian location. We waited about 30 minutes before we were able to get a seat. Inside was decorated really cute. Service was okay. I think our waitress was a little overwhelmed so it took us a while to actually order. Three of the people in our group ordered the Gravy Train potatoes with 3 different types of eggs. This dishes looked really good. My boyfriend said he felt like there weren’t enough potatoes for all the gravy though, said he would probably get something different next time. I ordered the California omelet. I liked it. The cream cheese was a different add in for this but I didn’t hate it. I thought my hashbrowns were overcooked. They were kind of hard to eat because they all stuck together. My boyfriend ordered a side of bacon but the order was placed wrong & we received a side French Toast. They ended up leaving that for us to try & got him an order of bacon placed quickly. The French toast slice we tried was pretty good. We also ordered a side of biscuits & gravy. I didn’t love their gravy as much as I have other places. But it was pretty good. Portion was pretty big on this. If I went back, I think we would all get something new to try. It looked like they had a decent sized menu too for breakfast foods."
"I have been eating at The Griddle since the first week I moved to the Treasure Valley in 2013. I understand price increases, within reason. However charging $8.00 for a SMALL fruit cup!?!? Egregious. Absolutely egregious. I will never eat at The Griddle for the pricing alone. The food quality has drastically gone down as the food prices are skyrocketing here at The Griddle. This small cup of fruit that had 4 pieces of squishy watermelon, almost a half of a strawberry if the thin slices were pieced together. 2 banana slices, 4-5 blueberries and 2 blackberries. FOR EIGHT DOLLARS!?!? Not even big slices of fruit, but the size of fruit one gets out of a fruit cocktail can. Shame on you The Griddle."
"Love The Griddle! Was happy to see another store open closer to 10mile. The food was as delicious as always. I love the crepes and omelets the most. The service was spot on. They greeted regulars here by name, and made everyone feel welcome. Cute decorations too. I will be back!"
"This Griddle location has become a favorite for my family, especially myself and my sister. Today the two of us brought our daughters who live nearby for a little celebration, our father/their grandpa would have turned 99 today. We mentioned that to our waitress and that we were having waffles because they were our Dad's favorite and our Mom made them for him every Sunday. The staff were so sweet and brought us our waffles on Happy Birthday plates with a little candle in the butter. They are all so caring and this little gesture made all of our days!"
"## Five-Star Review for The Griddle ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My wife and I recently dined at The Griddle, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. We both opted for the omelets, and they were absolutely delicious—fluffy, flavorful, and generously filled with fresh ingredients. The service was outstanding; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their customers. As for the price, we found it to be very fair considering the quality of the food and service. We left feeling satisfied without breaking the bank. Overall, we highly recommend The Griddle for anyone looking for a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere!"
