from Google"Went with family to experience the prime rib, but I was lured in by the shrimp as an appetizer, then settled on salmon. Everything was super tasty, service was great, view out the back window was gorgeous (I kept expecting to see a moose by the water). Aside from sitting in a hot sunbeam, Everything was perfect! Will eat there again.🥰"
"The Blue Heron is truly such a special place for me. I have many sweet memories there with family and friends. The employees are all so very nice and show a kindness not seen in all restaurants. And the view is spectacular! It's my favorite place to take anyone who visits! A total hidden gem."
"I went into the Blue Heron Café today to pick up my to go order for my family so I didn’t have to cook dinner tonight and I got the fish tacos…. Honestly, I don’t know what kind of magic dust the cook put on those tacos, but they were completely out of this world amazing! I’m gonna call later when they’re not busy and find out what the heck he put on my tacos. The Blue Heron Cafe Is a quaint little restaurant in the back of a gas station off the highway. They have some of the best food around and the service cannot be beat. I had to save one taco for later.🤤 Special shout out to sweet Katie and the girls that she works with for all their hard work and kind treatment. For sure I’ll be back, probably next week! Love Love, Love ❤️"
"The fantastic crew at Blue Heron does it right every time: food, service, and welcoming atmosphere. My gang of discerning eaters love Blue Heron's creative, elevated twists on familiar American favorites like the bacon meatloaf and Thai-inspired pulled pork sammie. In a world of rising prices and competitive dining choices, the menu and dining experience strike that rare, worthwhile balance of excellent quality and reasonable affordability. We stand proud as repeat offenders who never leave Blue Heron without full bellies and all smiles!"
"We have been to this place many, many, times. Truly the best fish and chips on a Friday night! Occasionally we go on a Saturday night for the prime rib but won't anymore. The last time was the last time, as it was twice now they couldn't get my prime to me as medium rare. After two attempts in one night and it still not right, we won't go back for it. So, we stopped in at 3:00 yesterday not knowing they didn't serve anything of the dinner portion of the menu, but decided to stay anyway. (We love our server, and it's not her fault) Once again, we were disappointed. Our bill for two very small prime rib sandwiches was $40, and we left hungry. That was ridiculous and we probably won't ever be back except for fish and chips."
