"We stopped by Roots Café and had such a great experience. My wife ordered the Huevos Rancheros, and it was spot on—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My son had cage-free eggs with ham and gluten-free toast, and it was cooked perfectly. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and you can tell they put care into their menu. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel right at home. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back"

"They know how to cook!!! The food was delicious. I can’t speak for the drinks as we didn’t get any but we tried 3 different meals and they were delicious. Chipotle chicken tacos, salmon tacos and a black bean rice bowl. Their sauces are amazing and everything feels so fresh and tasty."

"I LOVE this place so much! One of the few healthy food eateries in all of the Magic Valley! SUPER DUPER staff, excellent food! 5 November 2024 = Vegan and Jackfruit tacos were amazing! The peanut butter cup smoothie was heavenly as well. :) Nice, clean atmosphere to boot! Everyone should eat here at least once a week, for health and yumminess! On the spendy side, but worth investing in local that actually cares about what ingredients are used. Hours are shorter than many places as well, so sneak in when you can!"

"For celiacs who are dairy free, this is the place!! The cashier was super sweet and helpful! They were able to accommodate my order preference (breakfast scramble in a tortilla). The service was timely and the food was amazing. Fresh ingredients, crispy tortilla, and a yummy iced latte. 10/10 will come back while traveling!"

"Sad to leave such a poor review. I've always loved 4 roots and it has been one of my regular spots for a while. Slowly the quality of both food and service has gone down. Today I ordered two coffees. Both of which were made terribly and incorrectly. The menu states they should be made with almond milk but both were made with whole milk. Our server was incredibly rude and unfriendly. When asked if the coffee was made with almond she just said "nope whole milk", then snatched it away and remade it. Upon returning with the remade coffee she said, "Im not even mad, now I get to drink that one." As if it were somehow my fault she made the coffee wrong. It was and awful experience and both drinks were thrown out. I should've grabbed the servers name but the only thing I remember was she had two flowers tattoed on her elbows. I will not be revisiting anytime soon."
