"This is a most try!! I had the honor to try the owner's recipe from México and it was exquisite. The body, the aroma and taste of the coffe was in such perfect balance. The place i full of fine art and spacious. Is not your regular small coffe shop. On the other hand, the city is making it really difficult for the owner to open up for the public with so many restrictions for a coffe shop. "I've been trying local Chicago/suburban rosters and came across Roast 808. I drink espresso on a breville pro and have tried 3 of her coffees: cultiv8, medit8 and their decaf blend. Cultiv8 is fantastic. Pure chocolate. I could drink it all day long. Medit8 has chocolate with some of the hazelnut and apple coming through. The decaf blend is great as well. Anna has a great story about her journey into coffee roasting and hearing that, you can tell she has a passion for coffee which directly translates into the beans you buy. The coffee is freshly roasted and tastes great. I recommend you give her coffee a try."

"Roast 808 took me completely by surprise. It's a small, hidden gem that would be difficult to find without the help of Google or word of mouth. But once you've found it, there's no need to search elsewhere for your coffee needs! Seamus, the primary roaster, does all of the roasting in house. And believe me when I say he has a passion for what he does! He's extremely friendly and approachable and will take the time to find out about your tastes in coffee and even show you around and explain some of the roasting process. I've seen him at work as he roasts and he is extremely passionate about what he does, calculating every roast down to the precise second and temperature needed to get the perfect taste out of every bean. I travel a lot, and one of the things I enjoy doing is finding local coffee roasters to try new coffee. Despite all the places I've been to, Roast 808 has by far had the best beans I've ever purchased. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are passionate about coffee and want to try something new and refreshing! One thing to note, is that they are usually open by appointments only! So reach out to the phone number attached to Google and see when you can stop by. I promise you, it's worth it!"
