"A quiet environment that is relaxing in almost every aspect. Parking is somewhat limited, but is free, so get there early. The coffee was mediocre but the staff and environment made up for it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Coffee prices were about the average. They did have a multitude of options, flavor and style wise and the wait wasn't bad either. Bagged coffee was available for purchase."

"I’m on a trip with my family and was looking for a local coffee shop to try. I am a latte enthusiast and I was nothing but impressed! I tried their Baked Apple latte and it was perfect. Forestry makes their syrups in house, so it didn’t taste like it was chemically produced like the major coffee spots (Starbucks, scooters, etc.) it tasted cleaner. The baristas were also very kind and answered any questions that we had. We actually went to a barbecue place they recommended, and it was phenomenal. Next time I’m in Benton I’ll have to come back!"

"We went to their Boo & Brew Pumpkin Fest today. It was really fun. There were several free things to do for the kids, contests to enter and also lots of local vendors set up for the adults to browse around while sipping on some iced coffee made from freshly ground beans. We will definitely go again if they have more events in the future."

"Forestry Coffee is a new hidden gem in Southern Illinois and worth a decent drive if you don't live in Benton. I've had coffee from major cities across the nation and am often disappointed because the roasts are burnt or covered by excessive frill. The roasts here are sublime and are on par with the best I've had anywhere else. The owner clearly cares about the craft and is happy to discuss what drinks you might enjoy most. I had one of the best pour-overs I've ever had, and I also tried a latte and tea made from the dried fruit of the coffee plant. The latte balanced the flavorful roast with house-made syrup. Nothing overpowered the other. The tea was unusual, but worth trying: it tastes of coffee and dried cherries. This would be an excellent place to sit and read outside, or to catch up or play a game. Most importantly, it is a great place for a great cup of coffee."
