"Excellent coffee — rich flavor and perfectly brewed. The café is very clean, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable, and I love that they give you a little coffee cookie on the side — such a nice touch! I tried the raspberry cheesecake muffin; the flavor was good, but it was a bit dry for my taste. Overall, a great spot for quality coffee and a welcoming atmosphere."

"I got the southewestern salad and the peanut butter smoothie and they were both amazing. The salad was really fresh, the sauce was delicious and the smoothie had a great balance of peanut butter and banana. The staff was incredibly kind and the atmosphere/decor inside was super cute. Overall, great vibes, delicious food and will definitely be returning in the future!"

"The atmosphere was really nice, unlike the food quality which genuinely was most bland experience ever. You’d think for 49$ plus a tip the food was good. The coffee was watered down and tasted like artificial sweetener and vanilla slob. The sandwiches taste like microwaved food. And they threw stale overnight chips on a plate to sum up a mockery of a plate together 😂"

"Truly the best cafe in all of Chicago. Coffee is so good and tastes authentic and not just like coffee machine spew. Also the food as well as smoothies and juices are phenomenal. The ambiance is phenomenal and both ladies working are the sweetest souls. Not too loud but not too quiet, perfect environment. Wished they got the recognition they deserve."

"Nectar is a very cute spot with a lot of potential. Unfortunately some of the workers have a chip on their shoulder. My mother’s order was made wrong and instead of fixing her order in peace, a huge fuss was made about it. The girl was demeaning and negative about it. My mom is very sweet and was so polite about it as well. Mind you the place was empty at the time. Their coffee is just alright and smoothies are nothing special. They have great potential but until they address their weak spots I will not be returning."
