from Google"My partner and I just found this new spot, and I've been there almost every other day. Their lattes, especially the caramel ones, are so good! I also tried the pumpkin one; it was super smooth, perfectly sweet without overpowering the coffee taste. And the food, oh Wow the Big Ole Burrito is amazing! You could totally share it if there are two of you. This place is awesome, it's got a patio, a dog park, and even parking. I just love the chill vibe! Well done, Afro Joes!"
"Cozy and welcoming atmosphere with great coffee that’s always smooth and flavorful. The menu has a nice variety of drinks and pastries, all fresh and tasty. It’s a comfortable spot to relax, get some work done, or just enjoy a quiet moment. The staff is friendly and makes you feel right at home. A perfect place for coffee lovers looking for quality and comfort"
"This Black-owned coffee spot is an absolute gem. I’ve been twice now, and both experiences were amazing. The young woman at the front is incredibly knowledgeable and gave me great coffee tips. We bonded over our shared love for truly authentic coffee and how a touch of cinnamon can elevate the flavor. She made me the most incredible oat milk latte. Truly a 100 out of 10. On my first visit I ordered the avocado toast, which was excellent. This time I tried the Out West Wrap, and when I tell you I thought the toast was unbeatable… baby, that wrap took it to another level. It was so good I almost ordered extras to bring home for my family, but then realized they need to experience it hot and fresh. The bathroom was spotless, which I always appreciate. The overall vibe is very welcoming, that everybody-knows-your-name neighborhood feel. Even though it’s Black-owned, you see people from all backgrounds in there, which I love. I ended up sitting for hours getting work done because the space is just that comfortable. I also heard that during the summertime they have DJs and live music on the weekends, and wherever the patio is open, it’s always lit. I hate that it’s about an hour and a half from me, but I will absolutely be back. I’m officially obsessed."
"First time at Afro Joe’s and honestly, I wish I’d come sooner. I grabbed a chocolate croissant and a hot chocolate—nothing fancy, but together they were kind of perfect. The croissant was golden and flaky, with a layer of chocolate on top, soft and buttery inside. Fresh enough that little flakes ended up all over me, but totally worth it. The hot chocolate deserves a shoutout. Rich, creamy, real chocolate flavor, none of that watered-down stuff. Super smooth, velvety, and it stayed warm the whole time. Dipping pieces of croissant into it made the morning feel extra cozy. The staff was friendly, the vibe was chill, and I didn’t wait long. You can tell they care, even in something as simple as a croissant and hot chocolate. I’m definitely coming back, probably for a breakfast sandwich or an espresso next time."
"Food is amazing! First time I came in and it was busy. Took a little long for the food but understandable because they are very busy. Worth the wait because the food is delicious. As a Latina girl the bit of spice added on the bacon egg and cheese sandwich is S tier. Per my bf on his big ol burrito "Breakfast Burrito was smacking I would pay $16 all day every day for that burrito.""
