"I really wanted to be able to give a good review to this bakery. Unfortunately, she is completely unreliable. The first cake she made us looked cute, but was very dry. Also, at the last minute couldn't find a topper for the cake, even though I placed the order very far in advance. This should have been ordered in advance. Had I not saved a plastic toy with the character, we wouldn't have had a topper. Yet, I still wanted to give her a chance. We ordered another cake and sweet table package consisting of six sweet table items for my daughter's party. The morning of the party she asks if we can pick up a little later. We agreed. My husband went to pick up, and when he returned there was only the cake and two sweet table items. Knowing that she didn't make the items she still took the full remainder of the balance owed. I would have rather she owned up to it. I called and she ignored the call. I messaged her and she pretended to be shocked and said they were sent with another customer by accident. However, the fact that we had to pick up later than originally arranged, means that it was being thrown together last minute and she simply didn't make time to complete the order. My daughter was highly upset about her party sweets not being made. She offered to make us our next cake free, but we told her we'd prefer a partial refund. She agreed. We waited but never recieved the refund in our paypal. We stopped by and she said she would arrange the refund that day with paypal. Two weeks go by and nothing. We stop by again and basically more of the same. The only thing I can say is that my daughter's cake tasted good, but wasn't really what we wanted it to look like. The gold was faded,the tiers were small, and the color blue was a completely different shade of blue than the color we asked for. I'm talking she gave us dark blue, But the party color was aqua blue. The entire ordeal put a damper on her day. You just can't do that to people's special events. I gave two stars only because of the look of the first cake and the taste of the second."
