"I recently visited Bittersweet West Loop and loved it. The space is cozy and welcoming and the staff was very friendly. The pastries were excellent and my favorite was the ube pastry. It was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and really unique. The chai latte was also great and paired so well with the pastry. Definitely a spot I will be coming back to."

"Bittersweet has great coffee and pastries. The decor and ambience is demure & cutesy; definitely a nice place to sit and enjoy. Their strawberry latte is my absolute favorite. All the pastries are super fresh and honestly worth the price. I’m also obsessed with their “day before” boxes. Not quite as fresh but still really good and such a nice deal. The only downside is the customer service. It could definitely be better. The vibes don’t always match how amazing the food and drinks are. If that improved, this place would be a 10/10. Oh, and they don’t take cash!"

"What a cute patisserie! I love the green walls and decor - so different and unique. We came here in the afternoon for dessert and coffee after lunch at Guinness. I was blown away by passion fruit tart, chocolate cake, and cappuccino. All very good!!"

"I started visiting Bittersweet West Loop in summer 2025, and I've always had a lovely experience here. I love the pastries that they have (ham & cheese croissant; shout out to you. ... I also love the ube white chocolate croissant and the guava danish). I love their tarts and quiches - which may just cover almost everything on the menu! My favorite drink is the honey & cinnamon latte, and I have to give a high-five to Jeree for that! She's made it for me several times when I visited the cafe, and it's been on point! I appreciate her and her friendliness as well. Shout-out to all the other staff who's made my day with their service too :) I'm looking forward to getting to know these people better through shared experiences spoken through drinks and pastries "

"Delicious! I ordered the ube white chocolate croissant with an iced matcha and my boyfriend had the plain croissant with an iced latte. Everything was outstanding! I usually don’t like espresso but i even enjoyed the sip of his latte. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great new find for west loop!"
