from Google & Yelp"Incredible coffee shop on Division! Intimate little cafe, clean aesthetic inside, incredible windows, even better coffee and croissants. I have been here a few times, and I usually get an espresso, and then a latte. I have had the Burnt Honey Orange Blossom (BHOB) latte, it comes with a dried orange slice on top and is beautiful. I have also gotten the black salt mocha, it has black salt sprinkled on top. All very beautiful and delicious. The espresso isn’t bitter at all, definitely ground well, with hints of cherry, and smoke. Very good. I also got a pistachio croissant, which is stuffed with a jam like pistachio, it’s sweet, salty. Definitely recommend. It’s a small place with about 6 tables so possibly 12 seats. They are a great stop!"
"So excited for this new coffee shop in town! Had a Flat White and a vanilla latte during my visit. The coffee was great, balanced, perfect temp, and delicious. Truly a lovely atmosphere to work, meet friends, or stop by for a drink on the go. The service was great and very friendly. I really felt like I was in a Western European oasis; reminded me of my favorite spots in Belgium and The Netherlands. Cannot wait for my next time at Candor. ✨☕️"
"It’s so nice to have another good coffee shop on Division again! Coffee was excellent. I ordered a flat white today and will work my way down the menu and try some pastries in the future. Love the signage, side entrance, large bay window, and back patio. Welcome to the neighborhood guys!👌"
"It’s been a while since I last wrote a review mainly cause some spots look promising while others don’t, so I kept putting it off. But recently a new coffee shop opened, and I finally had the time and energy to give it a try. They’ve only been open for about a week or two, and I noticed a lot of reviews mentioning how nice the owner is. That’s something I always appreciate good customer service is really important to me. So naturally, I had some expectations walking in. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite match what others had shared. When I entered, I felt pretty overlooked, almost like I wasn’t really acknowledged. Unlike the other customers, the owner never asked my name for the order, nor did he ask what type of milk I preferred. While I usually stick with regular milk and that part didn’t affect me too much, it was hard not to notice the difference in treatment compared to everyone else. I also ordered a croissant, but that was another letdown. Instead of taking one from the bin, the owner chose one from the display, which already looked like it had been sitting out. The texture wasn’t great when I pulled it apart, it just didn’t have that fresh, it was hard to pull and bite and the flaky feel you’d expect from a croissant wasn't there. Lastly, the vanilla latte is overly sweet in my opinion good for those who love sweets but I rather have a balance or stronger coffee. I am upset though he didnt care to even mix the syrup. Take a look at how its like that.. Overall, I wanted to like this place, but between the service and the pastry, coffee it just wasn’t the best experience for me. Hopefully, things improve as they settle in, because the seating and vibe in there feels chill..."
"New coffee shop in the neighbourhood and loving it.. Great coffee- both cold brew and cappuccino were good. They probably use Metric coffee beans. Pastries are from Aya pastry, so cant go wrong there. Must try!!"
