"visiting chicago all the way from cincinnati ohio and this place was by far my favorite in the city! i truly wish we had a café this lovely in my city. french toast, breakfast burrito and cappuccino was top tier. a nice gentleman also helped accommodate my boyfriend that isn’t a huge coffee drinker, recommended a drink and my boyfriend loved it! staff was amazing, wish i could come in everyday. atmosphere was very comfortable. definitely recommend!"

"Go to Demitasse Café for delicious coffee. I ordered a muffin with my coffee and discovered that they slice the muffin in half, butter it, grill it, and then serve with powdered sugar on top and it’s fantastically delicious. I’ve never had a muffin prepared that way. Super friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere & nicely decorated for Halloween. I enjoy this little neighborhood spot."
