from Google"Fresh, fun, and fabulous! This restaurant was listed as one of the best brunches in the West Loop, so we thought we'd give it a try, and we were not disappointed. I had the BLT which was served on a pizza crust with delicious candied bacon mayonnaise tomato onion and lettuce. My son and his girlfriend had Cobb salad French toast and breakfast sandwich. For drinks we had a bloody mary which didn't look so fancy but was delicious and flavor, a cappuccino and because they were out of fruit for the Smoothie just water. Everything was spectacular and the decor and atmosphere was very appealing. The service was spectacular. I highly recommend and would definitely return."
"Stopped by Expat in the West Loop last weekend and had a solid experience. The vibe is chill. Ordered the Chicken Vesuvio, which was flavorful, though the portion felt a bit small for the price. Also tried their Manhattan cocktail; it was well-crafted and hit the spot. The patio seating is perfect for people-watching, especially with the lively neighborhood scene. Overall, spent around $60 before tip. Would recommend for a laid-back evening with good drinks."
"We started with the daily smoothie and the base was mixed berries. I love smoothies but don’t get them often because places just don’t do it right, but I was impressed with this one. The iced vanilla latte also hit the spot to the point where we actually got one to go. For food we split the smashed avocado toast with the addition of smoked salmon on top. I really liked this, and it was actually my favorite item we ordered, loved the chili crisps and everything bagel seasoning. My friend Alec got the Chicken Caesar Wrap which was good, but it could’ve used a little more chicken. The west coast breakfast burrito I liked more, but it was kinda on the salty side from the hash brown which was the only down side, but this thing is freaking huge and if I were to come back, I would get the smashed toast and those drinks."
"I had a great experience there during opening day and other hospitality events. But after trying to finally be able to experience it on a weekend, I was told there’s a $20 cover, I did not agree to that then after, a guest tried inviting me into their table, then one of the door team tried getting $50 out of me as a tip so they would let me in. Yeah I won’t be back."
"Horrible service - stopped in around 6:30 on a Saturday for a drink before dinner. Tons of open spaces - not too crowded at all. The hostess was kind and told us to sit wherever. We grabbed a table and after 10 minutes no one had stopped by and no menu so we grabbed one from the bar. No one ever came to take our order so my husband went up to the bar to order. Took another 10-15 minutes to get two cocktails from the bar which was fine but it really wasn’t busy. Just really hard to get anyone’s attention. There was an 18% service charge on two drinks which is insane considering we were provided approximately zero service. No one ever came to check if we needed more drinks or food, never even received water. Thankfully my husband paid when he ordered so we just left when we were done. 1 star for the kind hostess, and 1 star for the cocktails being solid. Will not be back."
