What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Goddess and the Baker at Wacker & LaSalle is an absolute gem! The space is bright, welcoming, and always buzzing with great energy. Every pastry is fresh, beautifully made, and downright delicious, and the drinks are just as impressive. The staff is friendly, fast, and clearly takes pride in what they do. Whether you are grabbing a quick coffee or meeting friends, this spot never disappoints ☕️🥐"
"Be prepared the music is loud as if everyone has low hearing . . Bagels are good , really good. Mine did come cold but it tells you it was crispy and still soft on the inside . I orders the everything bagel with a side of salmon (save a $1) haha. Coffee was bomb. So far best coffee I had in all of Chicago . Yes coffee is good! Place is clean and the vibe is happening which is good to me joy the meal and dip out to the next venue. Service is good. They were so busy but everyone was very nice , maybe because I gave them a big tip 🤷🏻♂️. Jk they were nice to everyone. Enjoy"
"Enjoyed this place for breakfast. Very convenient and easy to find. Clean, bright, busy but we found a place for five us to sit together. There was a line, but it moves fast and a lot of people grab and go. Food was all very good. Would definitely go again if we visit Chicago again."
"I love this place and my cappuccino w almond milk is always off the charts amazing. I give myself a treat once a week or so. Last two times tho my cappuccino was more like what you get everywhere else. Loose foam and no heart decoration. Coffee underneath bitter. Please make it amazing again 🙏. They are Back! Thank you"
"Ill do my best to write a fair review. The place is very aesthetically pleasing, but VERY loud. I almost had to shout to talk to my friend. Service was fast, but when we got our food delivered after asking it to be heated, it was honestly pretty cold. The croissant I had was fully cold on the inside still and had an extreme amount of chocolate inside (if you like chocolate, you'll like the croissant! I simply wasn't expecting 60% of the inside to be straight chocolate, but this is just a personal preference). Both of the baked goods we got seemed like they were sitting out for a while since they were pretty stiff (the cinnamon bun especially). For my drink, I ordered a London fog. It was pretty good, though I was very disappointed for my friend who paid $6 for a Chai latte got it basically in a shot glass with a large serving of foam. Taste wise it wasn't bad either, but for the price it wasn't worth it at all. I think I paid about $14-15 for my drink and food and my friend was about the same. The cafe has its charm, but well be going somewhere else next time."
