from Google & Yelp"The coffee shop itself is cute and has plenty of coffee and pastry goodies. La Marzocco machine. Solid pourover. Donuts from Do-rite donuts. But the real star of the show is the access to the apartment building lobby for coffee shop guests. The lobby is gorgeous and airy with plenty of work spaces and outlets. If you don’t mind mingling with the apartment guests it’s one of the most unique spaces for a coffee shop. Will be back here."
"This place is awesome. Bang for your buck coffee and if I have a rough day ahead, I need to swing by here to get it started. I mean that in terms of (I know no one will set my day on a weird path here, and the coffee KICKS). All the workers and even the new guy and GM are great. Here’s my take — if two coffee shops are near each other, I’m going to the one with better service (it isn’t about the coffee at that point) and this one is the one 10/10 times. Not a fan of the old guy who runs the front desk, though I wouldn’t let him taint my experience there. I do not appreciate his treatment towards the needy / homeless, though that’s his own issue. Thanks guys for consistently delivering some awesome jet fuel grade coffee:))"
"The area is so perfect to work or chat. It’s very homey and welcoming which I love for a great place to enjoy a coffee."
"It’s worth mentioning that there is only street parking that is metered. I was able to find a spot maybe half a block away. Also, the seating area posted in the picture was under construction. (No actual work was happening). However, if you can get past that part, you’re sure to find a comfy place (many spots to choose from)to sit and work, relax with a good book or enjoy a cup of coffee and hang out with a friend and catch up! When we were there as soon as we tried to sit down, there was a man that stopped us to ask what we were doing. When we told him we were having coffee and hanging out, he said OK. I believe that that is part of the apartment complex so I don’t think you could just sit there and hang out unless you live there or you’re having coffee. The actual coffee shop area is a small, walk up counter where you order and go. The gentleman that helped us was very friendly. I like strong coffee so for me their drip coffee wasn’t super strong but was good. You can always add a shot of espresso which she was more than happy to do for me. I also had the lemon loaf, which was absolutely delicious. My friend had the matcha, hot. You have the option of to go cups or coffee mugs that you can bring to the lounge area. It was a perfect environment for us to hang out and just relax and catch up. I even got a refill and my friend got some hot water. When the sun came out, we moved to the outdoor area, which was absolutely divine! They have a number of futon like beds that you can spread out and on and relax, which is what we did and proceeded to stay there for about an hour or so. I would definitely go back as I’m curious to see what it will look like when the renovations are finished. But absolutely do not let that detour you from visiting and staying in a while!"
"I’m here at Heritage outpost right now on a sunny November 10, 2022 with a surprising high in the low 70s. I walked into in through the revolving door and was immediately greeted by an elder gentleman manning the front table. I must have looked lost! I asked if this was "Heritage outpost" and he immediately pointed to my left and said “Heritage cafe is right there”. It is an active lobby as others have mentioned with people and their dogs walking through. There is a “no pets” sign for the cafe (the "cafe" itself is small with enough seating for maybe 4-5 people) but pets seem ok to have alongside you in the building lobby. The furniture is an eclectic mix of leather, fabric, tufts, modern, and wingback chairs with what seems like a 1920s type of decor. There is a “backyard” with picnic tables (maybe 6-8?) if you head straight back towards the gold elevator doors and make a left. It was a bit windy (and shaded) when I poked my head outside and I wasn’t sure if the door would latch and lock so I didn’t risk it. There is a low level of 70s music coming from the cafe present in the lobby which creates a nice level of structured background noise."
"Received excellent customer service this morning! I didn't catch the barista's name but he was very friendly and kind. Made my day a lot better. I should..."
