"This is my favorite Chicago cafe by far! The quiet ambience is great for studying with piano music playing in the background. It has a simple clean aesthetic with many varieties of seating and outlets with most tables. The drink menu is vast and everything I’ve tried here is delicious! I would recommend the strawberry matcha bingsoo as it is my favorite!"

"I love Java & Mug, it is my favorite cafe and place to do homework in Chicago. My favorite items on the menu are the dalgona latte, the banana milk latte, the pepperoni pizza croffle and the strawberry matcha bingsoo. Its usually not too busy and the staff is nice."

"This cafe is perfect for a nice snack and study. Many spots to sit, enjoy food and mingle with friends. I personally wouldn’t stay longer than an hour and a half since there are no cushions 🤣 Additionally, their injeolmi and black sesame bingsoo (shaved ice) here is so good! I also tried their savory pizza croffle another day because I was hungry and boy was that satisfying. I also like their corn cream latte. The banana milk latte was somewhat disappointing so I wouldn’t recommend that. Will keep coming back to try more :)"
