"Le Flour is a cute coffee shop and bakery. It is conveniently located across from the Metra train tracks in Edison Park. The cafe is open for coffee and pastries from early morning until mid-afternoon. Then they close so they can bake their cakes in the afternoons. They do custom cakes for many events. I love their cafe mocha so I usually get that when I go in for coffee. They have a selection of muffins, scones, etc. It's a great place to grab a coffee to go before getting on the train in the morning."

"I have to admit I have not tried their baked goods. I have been here on several different occasions as a pure coffee shop visit. The service is always friendly and fast. However, I did not enjoy the nitro cold brew. It was room temperature and lacking a bold flavor. I think the interior could honestly use some updating (furniture a bit awkward in the layout and some tired looking chairs) if they want more people to come in and enjoy a cup of coffee at their place. I did recently visit for another iced vanilla latte drink and thought it was delicious."

"I was driving through the city and randomly stopped for baked goods for my daughter's college drop off. What a nice surprise to find a true bakery that creates fresh baked goods with fine ingredients. Everything was excellent and appears to be made on site. Cookies had a great flavor and the texture was crunchy and not overly sweet. The pastries were really tasty and freshly made. Highly recommend the fruit jam filled pocket pastry, that was great for breakfast.This shop is definitely high end quality. Really nice staff also. I wish they opened one in Barrington."
