The staff was super friendly and upbeat, keeping the whole vibe light and enjoyable. Prices are reasonable, and it’s a great spot to soak in the atmosphere. The food itself was okay—not bad, but not the standout part of the visit. My drink had way too much ice, which was a little disappointing. Also, a heads-up for anyone using the self-service kiosks: watch out when ordering a combo. It’s easy to accidentally add an extra fries order at the end—you won’t need the double portion! Overall, I loved the experience more for the atmosphere than the food, and I’d still recommend stopping in for the fun, classic Portillo’s vibe."

"Overall this was a good experience of the classic Chicago Dog. Just beware that it seems to be heavy take-out/ pre-order focused. I waited around 15 minutes. There were just a few customers and 20+staff preparing one order after another. On the plus side, you can get beer on tap here."

"Portillos never changes its consistency. Excellent food but a bit pricey. Plenty of seating on both levels. It has an elevator to get to the bathrooms. Ample of free parking!"
