The pastries/baked goods looked great - we got the scone - highly recommend (pecan, cranberry, orange). The vibe was cute - plants and records provided a homey ambiance. The prices were also very decent!!"

"Ritual, my love. This place has truly ruined other coffee shops for me. The pricing is incredibly reasonable (one of the biggest reasons why I go multiple times a week), and the coffee and pastries are always delicious. They make all their syrups in house- the caramel is amazing and so buttery, I need the recipe! I wish there was more seating, but the patio helps with that during the summer. They always have the record player going and it’s just the coziest, unpretentious vibe. And the cherry on top is that they are open super late!!"

"I can’t begin to explain what a godsend Ritual Coffeehouse was in my time of need! I was driving through Chicago on a road trip, desperately in need of a good coffee at 9 pm, at a time where every other shop is already closed down. Then, I see them on the maps, hoping for the best, and happy to say it far exceeded my expectations!! I had the most beautiful latte, made by the lovely barista (working late on a Tuesday night but still super pleasant, kind and welcoming), and on top of all that, the coffee served was ONYX coffee! As a huge coffee fanatic, I was blown away that they carried one of the best coffee brands in the world (owned by world barista champion 3+ times). It was so comforting at this hour and being in a new city, but also the quality was impeccable! Thank you for being open and for the warm welcome to Chicago ☺️"

"Super cozy atmosphere, with plenty of room to work and dine inside or on the back patio. Small pup friendly which is a plus to get your little guy a small treat! The…pastries…WOW…let me tell you, these in house made pastries are out of this world. The flavor profiles are everything and is part of the reason we come back so often! The coffee? Superb. The staff? Superb. Everything about this local coffee spot is a 10/10. You have to come here if you want the best of the best and want to leave in a better mood then what you walked in with 😊"
