It wasn’t flaky, which I actually don’t mind since I’m not a fan of Croissants that leave crumbs everywhere, but it also lacked the light, airy interior I typically look for in a well-made croissant. Aesthetically, it was underwhelming and didn’t have much visual appeal. The bakery itself seems to cater more to the work-from-home crowd—it’s clearly a popular spot for people camped out with laptops. Pastry prices are on the higher side, but if you’re planning to linger and get some work done, it’s probably fair value considering the comfortable seating and relaxed atmosphere. For takeout, though, there are better options in the city."

"I’m from Nebraska and this place was recommended by my friend. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the breakfast sandwich. Perfectly fluffy eggs, fresh avocado, crispy bacon—best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a long time! I didn’t mind the seating was a bit snug with five of us because the atmosphere and service were so lovely. I would absolutely stop by here again in the future."
