"First off the food is here is absolutely fabulous. I’ve had the cinnamon roll and the croissant and both are special in their own unique ways. The service is also great. I left my latte on the table while I went to go wash my hands and someone threw it away, they remade it immediately! I will be back"

"Solid bakery cafe. The menu is very limited but my lasagna was very tasty. The Oreo cheesecake was rich and tasty but a little dry and the crust was not as good as the filling. Almond croissant was very good. Chocolate cookie was a little unsatisfying - not rich enough. Service was very good but a little slow just because there was only one person working the counter and bringing out food. Felt very much like we were in a cafe in Europe somewhere."

"I’ve been to this café a few times and really enjoy it. The space is cute, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. Their iced coffee is delicious, the sweets are great, and the avocado sandwiches are excellent. The service is friendly too! UPDATED: I usually enjoy supporting local coffee shops, and I’ve liked this place since moving to the neighborhood. But today’s visit really changed my mind. I stopped by this morning planning to sit down for a latte and breakfast. It was busy — Chicago Marathon day — so I completely understood a little rush. The cashier seemed irritated and asked for my order several times even though it was just a simple hot latte with whole milk. No smile, no warmth. After ordering, I waited about 20–25 minutes. People who ordered after me were getting their drinks, so I politely checked in to see if my order had been forgotten. The barista just said, “I’m working on the orders I received.” Then another staff member asked again what I ordered, promised it would be ready soon — but they kept making other drinks. Eventually, I had to leave for a call without my coffee. It’s frustrating because I’ve always supported this place, and the staff used to be much friendlier and more organized. I hope management takes this as feedback to better train their baristas and improve communication between the front counter and the coffee bar."
