The wait staff was fantastic and the overall vibe was upbeat and welcoming. Everything just clicked. Huge shoutout to the Moroccan Turkey Burger—absolute standout. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was incredibly flavorful and juicy, and the saffron gave it a unique kick that made it memorable. Already looking forward to the next visit. Highly recommend."

"We went to The VIG during happy hour on a weekday. It was a bit rowdy and noisy for a weekday, but that’s understandable given the pre-rush hour crowd. We sat at the bar and the service was attentive and friendly. We tried the lobster deviled eggs, southern fried chicken with fries, and an espresso martini. The fried chicken and fries were absolutely on fire—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The lobster deviled eggs, while tasty, were a bit of an understatement compared to the rest of the meal. The espresso martini was excellent, smooth and well-balanced. Overall, it was a fun spot with great food and drinks, though the noise level might not be for everyone. I’d definitely come back, especially for the fried chicken and cocktails."

"This place is absolutely fantastic. Melanie, Alexis, Sydney and Skylar took amazing care of our group. We had a few reservation logistic issues on our side but they were so patient and hospitable. Brunch was delicious- we ordered many dishes and everyone loved their food. If you’re around Chicago this is a must stop."
