"Don't miss this cozy cafe next to the Metra Station. Their croissants are the best around. So buttery & flaky, with a crisp exterior, yet fluffy middle. The cherry pie also was delicious -- big cherries, and it's not too sweet. Perfect accompaniment to their hot coffee. Speaking of coffee, they professionally roast their own coffee beans in small batches for a delicious, unique coffee taste you can't find anywhere else. You can see the small but mighty heavy-duty machine they use for this in the window! And to top it all off, the owner, Kay was so warm and welcoming. Definitely will buy coffee and treats from here again!"

"Passing thru and thought this would be a fun coffee stop. Was not disappointed! Chocolate chip scone was well balanced - not too chocolatey. The apricot jam on my breakfast croissant lent the perfect sweetness to a pretty savory dish. Breve latte was great! The staff was friendly and charmingly disorganized. I'll be coming back next time my travels allow."

"At first it's hard to find because it's tucked away, but if you follow your maps you should be fine. I ordered a dark roast drip coffee and I barely tasted any coffee flavor. I would give it a 1.5-2 stars. It's unfortunate. My mom ordered a decaf americano and she said she would give it 3.5 stars. It wasn't the best, but it was still drinkable. Overall, the atmosphere was very calm and there were two very sweet women working behind the counter, which made the experience worthwhile."
