"The antique store is great. Would recommend skipping the coffee/espresso bar. The staff is incredibly rude (one specific person) and after several attempts of trying this out, it still hasn’t improved. We have been consistent customers for years. The antique store has been a must visit every time we come up here. The staff member at the coffee shop extension has tarnished the experience. Sounds dramatic but the woman we have encountered there is that bad. She is unhelpful to her other staff and very bad with customers."

"Quaint coffee shop situated in an old renovated school, turned antique mall built in 1889. Delicious coffee and scrumptious pastries in an eclectic and comfortable environment. Loved the cozy sofas and oversized chairs. Plenty of serene seating areas. The chandeliers, lighting and cool ambiance make for a chill experience. Love that we can sip and shop the 3 stories and all of the nooks and crannies of this unique and absolutely gorgeous antique mall."

"1889 is situated in the Elizabeth Grand Antique Mall, which was the old renovated school. The coffee/drink specials are limited but great tasting and affordable, while the pastries are amazing. Complete with chairs and sofas to relax or take a break while shopping the antique mall, the calming ambiance makes for a grand antique mall experience. This is a definite stop for a quick pick me up, as you are traveling through, or for a drink while roaming the antique mall."
