"Very cute little shop, the kind of small town bookstore you’d think only exists in your imagination. And yet there it is, with two (wonderfully creaking) floors and several cozy rooms filled with literary treasures from near and far. On a sunny Sunday afternoon in spring, the shop was packed with visitors, and still the staff working near the entrance gave us a friendly welcome and a quick explanation of the store’s layout. I would really, really love to give them five stars, but unfortunately there was one incident which holds me back from doing so. We ended up not buying anything this time but still wanted to support the business, so we ordered two large cappuccinos. After having received our drinks, I asked if I could also have a cup of tap water. The staff member at the coffee counter refused and pointed to the fridge, “we only have these”, bottled water at $3 each. Being denied a simple request for tap water after just having spent more than $11 on coffee felt very inhospitable and cold, and this disappointing experience destroyed the seemingly welcoming atmosphere in a heartbeat. We left with a bitter aftertaste, and not just from the coffee."

"Harvey’s Tales is a locally owned bookstore with lots of great reads available with a great cozy feeling! From the moment we walked in, I was greeted in such a friendly manner. With it being our first time, the kind lady let us know where genres were located downstairs and upstairs, which was very helpful and appreciated. The entire area is laid out very well with great displays to create a natural flow through the entire bookstore! Also love the idea of the events they host such as a summer reading camp. Definitely a great place to check out to support a local small business!"

"Most adorable and welcoming bookstore! There are so many books but it's not too over whelming either. Very organized and clean. They also have a small cafe! There are nooks and seating around as well. I felt at ease browsing around and making myself comfortable while peeking inside books. The child section is great too. You can also find cute pins, bookmarks, totes, games and stickers to purchase."
