from Google & Yelp"I flew in for the weekend and was at this fine establishment 3 times in a day! I went for a coffee early and was interested in a pot pie they had in the freezer. I went and got that amd another coffee later in the day. Before they closed on Saturday I got o e more coffee and a piece. All of them are wonderful and if I lived in town id eat their food and coffee as a steady diet. The pot pie was fabulous."

"Common Grounds catered our wedding reception recently, and they were absolutely INCREDIBLE. Katrina is so easy to work with and very accommodating when it comes to food ideas and budgets. She is very down to earth and makes the process effortless. I cannot speak highly enough about how delicious everything was, the attentive service we received, and the overall experience from start to finish. She and her crew were friendly, helpful, and well-prepared. Katrina even thought ahead and brought extra supplies and plates in case I had forgotten anything in the chaos. And if you stop by the shop, she’s always creating something new - and you can’t go wrong with anything there. Especially the pies! I highly recommend the raspberry cream; it’s to die for!"
"The strawberry citrus salad was so fresh and tasty! Would definitely like to return and try the other menu items."
"Out and about in Central Illinois and went to Common Grounds for lunch. I had the BLT Chicken Salad on a croissant and my daughter had Pretzel Roll with Turkey. They came withb chips. Both were delicious!! Of course, we took home pie slices. We got a variety. The lunch was reasonable and 4 pie slices were an additional $24. So not cheap but worth the $$ and the drive. The aesthetic was nice inside."
