from Google & Yelp"My friend brought me here to eat lunch and catch up. I didn't even realize this place was in this tiny strip mall. It's tucked all the way into the corner and can be easily missed if you're not looking for it A basic eatery, but very clean. In fact exceptionally clean which is sometimes hard to find in a restaurant. I was impressed that they had a separate Gluten Free menu for breakfast. The food was good and nice portions. The service was excellent! Prices are pretty average in today's market. I would go back"
"We were lucky to have a wonderful family breakfast at the Lucky Penny! We had a breakfast burrito with house made chorizo and chipotle crema. It was delicious!! The meathead pizza was filled with a variety of breakfast meats and was delicious. The Warrio Skillet had spinach and onion cooked with the potatoes served with choice of eggs on top. The chorizo Benedict featured the house made chorizo along with avocado and Benedict fixings. It was delicious!"
"A hole in the wall but amazing find! We traveled to Chicago for fall break and happen to find this place. It was amazing and my daughter who has a gluten allergy was able to eat French Toast for the first time since her diagnosis from their full gluten free menu. Food and service were wonderful! Highly recommended."
"As a vegan that grew up in a traditional American famil, this cute little diner hit all the spots that I remember with my family. It was my first time here, but the food was very good. I ordered from their vegan menu. I got the French toast combo. That came with vegan scrambled eggs and beyond sausage patties. The French toast was on par with any French toast which is good, the eggs seemed to be made with tofu possibly which I liked, they tasted like eggs but with a different texture which is expected. The sausage patties were cooked well and tasted good. The service was exceptional. They were welcoming, checked up on me occasionally to refill coffee and ask if I needed anything. The food came out quickly. No complaints at all. The atmosphere reminds me of a clean version of the diners I frequented with my family throughout my life. Even down to the coffee cups and silverware. I visited in December and they had Christmas/holiday music playing and that along with the soft chatter of the other patrons created a very cozy vibe. I plan to visit the spot every time I visit this area."
"Delicious food with a vast and unique menu! Will definitely be going back soon! Can't recommend this enough!"
"I came here with my two kids who really enjoyed the Oreo S'more pancakes and the cookie dough Belgium waffles. They were both very sweet and the kids..."
