"Heart of the area that serves the community its caffeine fix and round roll goodness. The site is cozy, and table spaces are limited to your plan on dining there. The bagel selection is decent enough, and there are some great cream cheese selections. The eagle sandwich offerings are standard, but pay attention to the options. Most places for the morning sandwiches are egg, cheese, and meat choice. This place it is all optional, so if you wanted egg, cheese, and bacon, make sure to say that, or you might have a sad 8 year old. Also asked for the bagel to be toasted as that seems not standard there. Coffee was good, and the selection of specialty drinks was a standard afair."

"Just a huge "meh." Got our food fast even though it was busy, but the food itself was so bland and disappointing. I got the caprese bagel sandwich. Tomatoes were mushy, basil was wilted and soggy, and the bagel was a bit underbaked. The smallest bit of balsamic vinegar could be seen on one of the bagels. Bland ingredients, bland sandwich. Not fun to eat at all so I didn't finish. Disappointing 🫤"

"I recently stopped by The Daly Bagel in Oak Park and came away impressed. Their bagels are chewy and satisfying, with a good crisp crust and soft interior. A few things stood out: What I loved: • Great flavor and texture — they do a solid job with “New York–style” bagels. • Excellent sandwich options — the “Ultimate” (whitefish spread + extras) has been singled out by Chicago Magazines as one of the standout dishes in the area. • Warm, local feel — the shop’s story (from the owner baking at home to opening a storefront) gives it a community charm. • Coffee and spreads complement the bagels well, making it a nice spot for breakfast or a light lunch. What could be better: • Seating is limited — there are only a couple of small tables and a bench, so during busy times you might need to take your bagel to go. • Because they make things fresh and with care, some items (especially special sandwiches or spreads) might sell out early. • Sometimes the shop feels a little cramped if there are many customers inside at once. All in all, The Daly Bagel is a solid gem in Oak Park. If you love good bagels and want to support a local place with personality, it’s definitely worth a visit. Would I go back? Absolutely."

"Neighborhood favorite bagel shop with great offerings. Their bagel sandwiches are inventive, and it's very nice getting your choice of bagel for the sandwich. The shop itself is small, but there are still a few good seats. Definitely a more grab and go spot for me. I very much enjoyed my sandwich - The Neighbor. The cream cheese was made with the filling from fellow business Thai Neighbor's crab Rangoon. Absolutely amazing."

"It's a wonderful bagel place with fresh options everyday, with the introduction of the jalapeno spread now provides a spicy one as well. I would highly recommend the daily bagel to anyone wanting a good budget friendly place."
