"I was so excited to try this business. I live within a 5 minute walk and pass it by all the time. When I walked in, I was impressed by the selection and menu. I ordered two infused lattes at 4:00 pm, I was told to sit at a table and that they’d make them for me. As I sat down I immediately texted my fiancée telling her how cool the place was and how I already couldn’t wait to take her here. Our condo is right around the corner and I pictured us coming regularly to enjoy the drinks, desserts and atmosphere. After patiently waiting for 40 minutes, I approached the man who took my order, asking him how much longer it would be. It became apparently clear he had completely forgotten about me, and hadn’t even begun to prepare my drinks. I was blown away by this and felt like this was so inconsiderate and inexcusable. He claimed that “it got so busy” that he forgot about me, however only about three people came in after me, not nearly enough to overwhelm any responsible person into forgetting about a paying customer. The worst part is, his attempt at an apology was dismissive, as if waiting 40 minutes on a busy NYE day was no big deal. Not attempt was made to make things right, no discount, no complimentary item, nothing. I would have been perfectly happy with a sincere apology. I paid $27 for two lattes and tipped on top of that in the hopes of supporting a local business because I am passionate about small business. I own a small business myself, on January 1st my business will be 10 years old. We have survived because every customer is taken care of and treated with dignity and respect. I am not holding Wake n Bake to standards I don’t hold myself to. I would never allow anyone to be ignored and disregarded at my business. To add insult to injury, when I tried the latte they were barely luke warm, closer to room temperature. This was supposed to be a quick stop on the way to run several errands. I thought this would be a special treat for my fiancée and I to help make our NYE memorable. Instead I left feeling disrespected and with my time completely wasted."

"Don't try if you know eddies or infused drinks don't work for you. I was told by person behind counter that it would work regardless. So I got 100mg drink that tasted like alcohol and a don't drink and did absolutely nothing for me. So I wasted $25 for a nasty drink. No thank you!"
