What People Are Saying
from Google"Orland Oasis hit the spot for breakfast. The place was quiet, simple, and laid back. Nothing fancy, just easy to sit down and eat. The staff was super friendly. They checked in enough but didn’t hover, and they seemed like they actually cared about the people eating there. I got the Everything Skillet with scrambled eggs. It had peppers, onions, mushrooms, bacon, basically a mix of everything. The veggies still had a little crunch, the bacon was crispy, and the whole thing just tasted good. Big enough to fill me up. Honestly, that’s all I wanted. Good food, no hassle, and a calm start to the morning."
"They dont make places like this anymore. Classic hole in the wall style diner. Sweetheart of a waitress and maybe the best potato pancakes Ive ever had, with crispy bacon and a tasty sausage to go with it."
"This is a great local restaurant serving breakfast and lunch with a few really good German dishes. The prices are very reasonable, and the owner of this family owned restaurant personally comes around to great every table and make sure you had a great meal. Everything is made fresh and from scratch, so you know it is good. Recommend you give it a try if you are looking for good breakfast or lunch, I don't think you will be disappointed. Also note this is not a large restaurant, so there could potentially be a short wait at busy times, but don't let that discourage you.... It's worth the short wait."
"Everything we ate was good. Bacon and pancakes really stood out. Everything looked fresh. Coffee was good too. I'm not sure why reviews gave it one "$" bc it's really not cheap. But we got plenty of food and we'll be back. It's a cozy place... about 200-300 sq feet id guess and maybe a dozen tables. Nicely decorated."
"I recently had the pleasure of dining at a charming family-owned breakfast restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the waitress greeted us with genuine warmth and friendliness, instantly making us feel at home. She made a couple jokes and teased in a way that had me laughing out loud. The highlight of my dining experience was undoubtedly the food. The Monte Cristo sandwich I ordered was nothing short of perfection. The combination of savory ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese, sandwiched between two slices of perfect French toast, was simply heaven. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors that left me craving for more. I shared it around the table and everyone agreed it was so good. But it wasn't just the Monte Cristo that impressed me. Surprisingly, even the French fries served alongside the sandwich were impeccable. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned, they are hands down the best French fries you can get in Orland Park. The owner was casually checking on the tables to make sure everyone’s meal was nothing less than perfect. Overall, my visit to this small breakfast restaurant was an absolute delight. The exceptional friendliness of the waitresses combined with the mouthwatering food made it a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone in search of a fantastic breakfast spot with a personal touch."
