"I met a friend at Leaves n Beans Coffee for the first time last weekend. It's really cute on the outside and looks like a house. Parking is best out front or on the side of the building. The back is reserved mostly for employees. You walk up the stairs and through the front door and you immediately walk into this cozy comfortable coffee shop! I loved the decor and all the different seating, tables, and decorations on the walls! I even loved the door with all of the handwritten flavors and coffees that they had available! There's so many different things that you can purchase here including your own bag of coffee that you can take home with you! It smells amazing in there! We both ordered a iced/ blended coffee, mine was cookies and cream, grabbed a cookie and found ourselves a table. We decided to sit at the table in the front of the building so we could look out the front window. There's definitely plenty of seating around inside and outside. I heard there is a couch with a bunch of different chairs downstairs and even a ton of books avaliable but I haven't got a chance to go down there yet. Next time I go I'll check it out! They called our names shortly after to come and get our coffees. When you grab your coffee there's this little nook in the bottom right corner where you can get your straw and any additional things that you would need for your drink. We went back and sat down and chatted for a bit. This is such a cute coffee house, felt like home! It's great place to meet up with a friend to catch up! I'm looking forward to returning and trying something new!"

"I am a long time peoria Heights resident who used to frequent this shop. Lately over the last year or so I feel as tho every time I come in the employees are so rude and make me feel like an inconvenience to them. today I went for the first time in a while decided to give it another try. The man behind the counter was so annoyed by our presence it seemed.. talking about "since we close at 2" well it was 115 pm. one of the last times I went I tried to order the special drink that had previously been the Whitney's walk drink speical it was not on the menu anymore. it was white macadamia and vanilla. I ordered it in an iced latte the lady refused to make it since it wasn't on the menu.. I went online and ordered it. just an iced latte with the 2 syrups. It wasn't a big deal but she was being ignorant and rude. They also offer a "discount" to first responders/ nurses however every time I ask I get declined even tho I am an RN and have came in my uniform on my lunch break. I don't think I will Continue to support this small business as they don't appreciate customers esp long time Ones who have been supporting them for years. EDIT *** Response to company’s response. I am aware you close at 2 however attitude isn’t needed when customers come in AN HOUR before closing time. The syrup was there because I seen it on the shelf and I went ahead went to my car ordered online and came back in. I didn’t want the actual Whitney’s walk drink just something Similar. And I had my badge and ID and scrubs but it’s fine I didn’t really need to save 40 cents anyway. You’re more worried about money than the customers that keep you in business."

"Wow! There are calm, encouraging, and very positive & motivated and hard working people here now! I cannot say enough good things about this new atmosphere every time my husband and i come in for a coffee!!! It’s no longer hit & miss…it’s always “spot on” under this new management!! We thank you for your consistent good character & reliability to all people. You all genuinely care about quality service & smiles to every customer! Now that’s an environment that we can visit in!! "Great spot for a sandwich/wrap and a coffee or tea. This place has some great menu options. It’s close to some beautiful hiking and walking spots - so it’s an easy choice if your walking grandview or hiking forest park. It can be busy , but the service is efficient and friendly"

"I frequently come to the peoria heights location and I absolutely loved it! I love the food the atmosphere the staff and the drinks as well. To add, I love how all the staff is able to express themselves through their style! I would definitely recommend the chicken chipotle ranch panini and the churro latte! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good coffee shop! LGBTQ+ friendly and very smart helpful knowledgeable staff! Thank you!! 😊"
