"The location in the mall is really small, only run by one lady at least when I went. So, naturally, slow service. Bout 20-30 minute wait on my order. But I know a good soul spot when I see one. And good LORD that food is good. Friend and I got meatloaf. I got it with mac, him with the yams. So good. As satisfying as soul food gets. Tipped a whole 10 bucks just for how good it was on top of a 20%. Worth it for sure."

"I just went there for a work event. Every single food item that we ordered was absolutely off the charts delicious! An absolutely adorable restaurant with super friendly and helpful weight staff... I could not be more excited to return and try more of the insanely decadent desserts and fabulous entrees. I just moved to Peoria back in December of 2023 and this has been hands down the best restaurant experience I've had so far!
