What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Located in an unassuming building near the Bradley campus, this was a good find. Once in, it was a bit confusing because we saw no one, to include a hostess. We could hear patrons somewhere so we waited and someone came to seat us a couple of minutes later and took us to what seemed to be the restaurant side of the house? Once there and seated we got to view all of the themed artwork and items lending themselves to the ambience. It's a very chill and relaxing vibe. The table was clean, as were the utensils, rustic looking floor, and men's bathroom. The waiter was quick and friendly. Our made-from-scratch meals were served pretty quickly and was cooked well. Portions were good and especially for the price. It was noticeably less expensive for the quality of food and expansive options that were provided. Plenty of vegan options available, but I was recommended the Cuban Pulled Pork sandwich and it did not disappoint. Good spices, well cooked, and very filling. We will definitely return and bring friends/family to enjoy. UPDATE: Went back and had the Reuben, falafel sandwich, and the Royale Burger. They were all equally impressive and tasty. Packed for dinner, but they still had us seated in 20min."
"Felt like I was taken care of like a family member. Amazing and attentive staff who recommended the best prepared pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had. Everything was wonderful and I certainly will be back next time I’m In town"
"First-time reviewer, longtime One World customer. Back in 1995, while I was at Bradley University, One World shaped me into a lifelong coffee lover and basically powered my social life for years. From performing in the One World Theatre improv show *Life Dog Corn Eat Shoe* to poetry slams, it was my home base. My visit on January 17 didn’t disappoint. The familiar wall art, the delightfully quirky staff, and the drink and food lineup all signaled I was back where I belong. Today I went for the turmeric latte: warm, richly flavored, and soothing straight down to the cockles of my heart. Maybe below the cockles. Somewhere in the sub-cockle region. I also splurged on a large chocolate chip cookie. This is not a cookie for the faint of heart; this cookie was as large as my head and nurtured my soul. Thank you, One World!"
"Went for lunch today. let's start with service well it was 5 stars. On to food had the Bacon, mushroom and chicken sandwich, with side of fries. chicken was cook nicely, the bacon and mushrooms were good, But what put this sandwich over the top was the bread, Tomato Basil Focaccia roll was infused with flavor and outstanding."
"One World is absolutely phenomenal! Where to begin with the accolades....the food is outstanding, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff from front of house to back of house are amazing! They offer a gluten free menu and if dairy is an issue, they will make substitutions AND they do use non-dairy vegan cheese. The regular menu is bursting with flavor and the portion sizes on both menus are large. The staff (servers and kitchen) are extremely diligent when it comes to dietary restrictions and cross contamination. This is one of the best restaurants in Peoria and I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend them!"
"This place is super cute!! The vibe was a hit! The server was absolutely a gem! I had the blackened cajun fish sandwich and fries! Their ranch was yummy!..."
