What People Are Saying

from Google & Yelp

"Not the fanciest place but they sure do know their craft! Lots of beverage options in case you're not a coffee drinker--kombucha, tea, beer...Everything came out swiftly. The coffee was good! Not overly roasted, but still flavorful and well-balanced. I ordered a giant breakfast burrito for $13 and got two meals out of it! Tons of seating inside and the staff is great! They've got a stage area in the side room so maybe they have live music. Would definitely explore this further!"

"Review Date: August 15th, 2016 A rustic coffeehouse that serves up a variety of items. I stopped by while heading to Jumer’s Casino and was pleasantly surprised by the antiqueness and rusticness of Theo’s. It is full of wooden furniture and older signs and decor. They offer the typical coffee varieties along with some baked goods and a food menu. I only had a coffee (black this time) and it was good. Not stellar, but it was black, so what can you expect? The food menu looked good, but I had food before heading here, so I was not hungry. The staff was friendly and gave great service despite being a bit busy. Overall, it was a nice little coffeehouse and if I lived in the area, I would visit it frequently. I just love the old antique feeling it has."

"Super cute local coffeehouse! Breakfast sandwiches are AMAZING. Iced coffee wasn’t diluted. Iced chai had lots of cinnamon. Nice, quiet place to sit down even on a Saturday morning. Was originally going to go to the pancake place down around the corner but it was so packed. We found this place instead and SO GLAD we did. Loved it!"

"Fun stop on my road trip to Alaska. Quite a few interesting/unique coffee options. Lots of fun stuff on the walls including local history. I even took a picture of the floor because it was so cool! They have an area with a stage for music but nobody was playing at the time. You could probably live out your dreams by singing or playing there when nobody's around (it's safer that way) Once you have your coffee go walk around the little downtown and check out the cute buildings, painted benches and river which are all very close by. Helps to burn off those latte calories and stretch your legs."

"Happy to see Theo's still here! The new owners have done a good job with keeping a food and drink menu with a lot of variety. I was able to enjoy an elusive hot cinnamon honey Matcha Latte. They even had a homemade white chocolate matcha scone. I also had the 2-2-2 breakfast which was flavorful but left me thinking of some type of seconds. Good atmoshphere! Two large spaces divided into the coffee shop and a performance venue with a stage. Different types of seating including the classic coffee book couch nook. Study approved; plenty of outlets and no loud speaker music. I've only seen 40 minutes of Friends but Theo's kind of gives me that vibe. *Edit: A group of 3 on a work lunch meeting came in at 1:58 pm on Tuesday expecting to order food and was told that the kitchen closed but cafe was open until 3:00pm. **Another customer denied food at 2:10. Oof, it would probably be helpful if the kitchen closing time was noted on the website or door. I have to drop a 🌟 for service because of this."
