"I had my first donut from Donut Drop today and I will be back. The apple fritter is my spirit donut: if you like your fritter as tall as a cumulus cloud, this one isn't for you, but if you like it like I do —thin and crispy with a soft center — you will love. My only recommendation is a little bit more spice, or maybe add some to that glaze, and 10% more apple. Also, as a coconut lover, I really dig the texture of their toasted coconut donut. It is tender and fluffy (but it actually has substance, not a melt away in your mouth "where's my donut" hijinx) and the crumb is amazing. If it had just a little more punchy coconut flavor, or a little bit of coconut cream piped in the donut hole, I'd be smitten. I can't wait to try the coconut ube next time."
