"Must-Try Soda Mixes & Sleek, Dark Minimalist Vibes! Candy Cloud in South Elgin is an absolute must-visit! The space itself is striking and memorable, embracing a sleek, modern minimalist aesthetic. I loved the dramatic look created by the completely black-painted interior paired with the raw concrete flooring. Beyond the cool style, the layout is highly functional: tables comfortably accommodate medium-sized groups of 4-5, and the open floor plan is excellent for accessibility, easily accommodating wheelchairs. The service was also top-notch, with very friendly staff who were clearly enthusiastic about the mixes. I was thrilled to try two of their fantastic creations. First, the limited-time DR UBE—a flavor I hope they bring back! The familiar spice of the Dr Pepper base was perfectly complemented by a rich, creamy vanilla and the uniquely subtle, sweet flavor of ube. It was innovative and absolutely delicious. I also thoroughly enjoyed the STRAWBERRY CLOUD POP. This drink is pure dessert in a cup: Dr Pepper layered with a sweet strawberry drizzle, rich marshmallow cream, and topped with a lovely vanilla sweet cream. It’s the perfect treat. A quick and important note for patrons: This is a cashless establishment, so please come prepared with a card or mobile payment. Also, do yourself a favor and sign up for their rewards program ahead of time—you will definitely want to come back for more! Five stars!"

"A different Boba experience. Non traditional. You place an order either through their app or self order. I think it could be a fun place to sit and do some work or hangout with friends or family. Add more couches!"

"Coffee tastes fantastic!!! Place looks really clean. I'm using this as my Starbucks alternative from now on :) not as many options as starbs and a little more expensive, but definitely worth it! They have all the important stuff. I ordered two drinks with light ice and cold foam, and they forgot to put light ice but it wasn't a huge deal to me The ratio of cold foam needs to be a little bit more than what is given I think, (unless mine was just an accident and normally they do put more), considering we have to pay extra for drinks that don't already have cold foam, I would expect more than just a few tiny sips of it, but it still tasted good! (I got the shaken espresso). Hopefully next time I go back the experience will be a little different (and I definitely will be going back because the taste was very good!) First time here, there's no way to create a rewards account on the self order screen unfortunately you have to download an app which kinda stinks, but not the end of the world."

"I usually love this place but today they really missed. The biggest issue I always have is I always ask for less ice since it's 50 cents to not have ice in it, they always fill it halfway with ice which is not light ice. Today I also asked for full sweet on my purple potion and they put absolutely no sweet in it, I get this every time so I know if it's full sweet or not. You can't look at this drink and say that it's light ice with it being halfway full with ice. Also the staff is never at the front when someone walks in the just hide in the back and then we have to get their attention to order but if they are busy like they are they should keep an eye at the door, I shouldn't have to feel like I'm an inconvenience to ask for help."

"Was excited to try this place but there was only one employee working. We waited a few minutes, then noticed over 10 people were waiting on their order and he was only working on making one. The drinks looked great but not half hour to an hour wait time. Also it's very dark and sad in there, you figured the decor would be livelier. Nope. Maybe the name should be Dark Cloud instead of Candy Cloud. :)"
