What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"This delightful little coffee shop feels like stepping into a summer ice cream sundae the moment you walk through the door. The bright, cheerful colors create such a warm and inviting atmosphere. My sister and I both ordered the gingersnap matcha latte, and it was absolutely fabulous — perfectly balanced, cozy, and delicious. The staff were incredibly sweet and courteous, which made the experience even better. I can’t wait to come back!"
"This place is very bright and colorful. It's a great coffee shop on the downtown square and especially great for weekend travels. My sister and I tried the Gingersnap Matcha Latte and it was really delicious. The staff were eager to help if we had any questions about drinks or food which was very helpful! It was also nice they had a few different milk options for drinks too. I am looking forward to try their foods and drinks."
"Super cute place. Fun colors and vibe inside. Most of the people are pretty nice. The goodies did look tasty, though we ended up not ordering brunch/lunch - tables are spread out; only one emptied while we waited in line for 20 minutes. And even that table was snatched up by someone in a group behind us in line. 🫤 Nothing the staff can do about people camping out at tables - like the single person at a 4-person table. Additional seating or a bar/counter option for single guests would help alleviate the 4-people tables being used by 1’s or 2’s. We went elsewhere to eat but my wife did enjoy her drink."
"Having been fans of Golden Hour since early days of the Farmer’s Market, pretty disappointed since the move to the new building. Arrived to a very fun atmosphere with a steady crowd and live music. We went to order food of which I did not wait in line. Despite that, it took nearly 10 minutes to be addressed as one of the employees apparently made two beverages and chatted with someone. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying. Ordered a Monte Cristo, grilled cheese, and a donut. Only two gluten free donuts were available. Took about 15 minutes for the food to arrive. The Monte Cristi is pictured—which was not good (and that’s being polite). It was burnt toast with deli turkey/ham, and Swiss that hadn’t melted entirely. Also, as pictured, you can see where the pink colorant of the paper was being absorbed by the turkey. Not great. They were out of jam—a trademark of the sandwich—but didn’t indicate that beforehand (otherwise I’d not have ordered it). Certainly not worth ~$10. Not to mention the additional 10 minute wait just to ask for the jam. The grilled cheese was good and is frankly the only reason the food rating isn’t a 1 or 2. The only saving grace to this experience was the live music and general good vibe of the place. Otherwise, it was exceedingly disappointing. If asked, I would not have guessed that the same person operating this establishment was the same one who ran the stand at the Farmer’s Market that I used to frequent every week."
"Very cute and inviting. Great beverages. Gluten free Blueberry muffin was fresh and delicious 😋. Had an iced matcha tea, too. Great location. Support our local restaurants"
"This is a new bake shop in the downtown area. I had been watching their progress to opening for many months and was excited when the location opened...."
