"I worked with Creative Cakes to design a custom cake for my mom’s 80th birthday, and from the very beginning they were thoughtful, collaborative, and genuinely excited to help bring the design to life. We were so looking forward to seeing the final result. Unfortunately, the day before we were scheduled to pick up the cake, our family experienced a sudden loss. When we reached out, Creative Cakes was incredibly kind and understanding as we talked through options. We came up with the idea of dividing the large cake (originally meant for 70+ people) so it could be donated, and they were completely accommodating. What truly went above and beyond was that they didn’t just divide the cake — they created three beautifully decorated cakes, each with its own distinct design. Two were donated, and we kept the third. In the end, the cakes were absolutely stunning, and the one we were able to enjoy was delicious. The compassion, flexibility, and care they showed meant so much to our family. We will absolutely be booking another cake with them when we hold the postponed celebration. Highly recommend."

"We were originally on the fence about getting a wedding cake -we wanted the cake-cutting tradition, but our venue already included dessert with dinner, so we didn’t want to overspend. After seeing Creative Cakes at a wedding expo at our venue, that changed quickly. Their display cakes were absolutely stunning, and the sample pieces were delicious. We scheduled a consultation with Becky, who was so kind and easy to work with. She took her time looking through all of our inspo photos and designed the perfect cake for us. She was also incredibly patient while we went back and forth (more than once!) about whether to rent or buy a cake stand. The price for our three-tier cake was very reasonable, especially for the quality and care that went into it. They delivered and set up the cake on the wedding day, complete with our cake topper, and it looked spectacular. Everyone raved about how good it tasted, even the people who insisted beforehand that “all wedding cake is bad.” As a bonus, when my dad returned the cake stand, they gave him two free cupcakes as a thank-you… which he did not share because the cake was that good! 😂 We truly couldn’t be happier and can’t wait for our one-year anniversary cake.
