from Google & Yelp"I worked with Pace e Bene to cater desserts for a 70th birthday party. They exceeded expectations! We had 5 different bars in single-serving papers. Each and every one was delicious - and I know because I tried all of them! Julia and Rosa were wonderful to work with - patient with an indecisive client, thoughtful in their suggestions, and expert in setting up before the party. I would certainly recommend them for future events."
"My family and i love Pace e Bene! They have 7 rotating flavors of gelato and sorbet, as well as ever changing from scratch baked goods, and delicious coffee & espresso drinks. The books, gifts, and more selection is also always expanding. For childrens items they have a unique selection of catholic kids books that I've not seen before. If you're not Catholic, you are still more than welcome. In addition to their food items, they also sell the cutest stuffed animals with real alpaca fur, some legos, and coffee, candles, and soaps. I especially like their hours. Since they are open until 9pm on weekdays, there is plenty of time to grab a gelato after dinner, meet up with friends, or do some shopping in the evening."
"This shop is a much appreciated addition to Atchison's downtown! They have an excellent variety of high-quality Catholic goods, from stickers and soaps to exclusive imports from Europe. But my favorite part is the cafe, serving delicious gelato, homemade baked goods (including one of the best chocolate cakes I have had!) and espresso-based beverages. The off-menu affogato is a winner!!"
"This is a wonderful Catholic bookstore with great gelato and wonderful coffee as well as an amazing display on the Shroud of Turin and hundreds of relics of various saints. The proprietor of the shop is incredibly knowledgeable"
"Pace e Bene is a wonderful little place. The coffee is probably the best in town (and well-priced), the bookstore has an excellent selection, and the owners and staff are incredibly kind and helpful. My wife and I are semi-regulars on the weekends, as is my father-in-law. We regularly see students and other Benedictine faculty there, which really adds to the community feel. The baked goods are also all made fresh in store and always delicious. I once came in the day before my wedding, stressed and desperately in need of caffeine. I ordered a double shot of espresso, thinking to down it quickly and rush off to my next errabd. However, it was priced under the minimum limit for credit cards and I had no cash on me. Julia Zia very kindly gave it to me for free, charging it as her free drink for the day and saying I needed it more than her. If that's not giving drink to the thirsty, I don't know what is."
"There are so many amazing coffee shops in the kansas city area, and every time I try a new one it becomes my favorite. This one was no exception, but I do..."
