What People Are Saying
from Google"Garden House is a must visit shop in KC. It’s the first coffee shop I recommend to people when they are looking for great coffee or a spot to hang out at. The coffee is always exceptional and pair that with the vibes of the shop and you have the perfect place to spend a morning. They also provide space in their shop for other local vendors to be highlighted. Community is at the heart of everything Garden House does."
"I randomly found Garden House when searching for coffee shops this morning, and I couldn't be happier that I did. I came for the coffee and plants, but ended up staying much longer than expected so I could browse the massive amount of local art, jewelry, gifts, and vintage clothes. I wanted to buy pretty much everything I saw, but landed on some art prints by Travis Stewart and vintage books from Earthen Vessel. I plan to come back and check out Supply Closet some more too, because I was obsessed with their stationary (see pics). I ordered two coffees while there, and both tasted decent. I’ve read they have some good pastries, but both offered were out so I couldn’t try. There’s a huge back area as well, and I might come back and do some work there soon. All in all, this was a fun and unexpected visit, and I’m excited to come back and explore some more."
"Love Garden House! Always a must stop when we’re in the city. Baristas are well-informed on the options and make great recommendations. and we got to chat with the owner, Jordan, last time we were in. So friendly and engaging and you can tell he genuinely loves this shop, the city, and the people. Can’t wait come back!"
"What I love about this place is… too many things to list. The staff are so helpful. They consistently feature single source coffee options that are worth driving across town for. Beyond that, the rest of the shop is this giant boutique of local makers and plants. There’s enough space to really spread out. Can’t recommend this space enough."
"Very relaxing coffee spot. Passing by Garden House each day on my route work, I always thought it looked inviting and I wasn’t disappointed. With my first visit being early on a cool fall morning, I enjoyed browsing the interior amidst the calm atmosphere and chill indie music. Their array of plants and items for sale like jewelry add to the character of this place. The space for sitting is not huge but I’m not familiar enough to know if they get busy/crowded (there is some outdoor seating though). My kind of place."
