What People Are Saying
from Google"We came in around 1 PM on a Wednesday -- it was mostly empty, so we had almost the whole place to ourselves! We had great food -- I got the breakfast tacos without tomatoes and loved them -- and great service from Mike. Super nice guy, made us feel right at home. He checked on us every 15 or so minutes to make sure we didn't need anything. We paid $30 (including tax) for two people. Paying for food that's a cut above somewhere like Waffle House but roughly the same price, I really think it's a win-win when you factor in the great service. This place is definitely a hidden gem, highly recommend checking it out! They have both a breakfast and lunch menu."
"First time at The Glass Cat and I really enjoyed it. It was a calm and friendly atmosphere, nothing about feels like you are being rushed and got the feeling I could stay for hours if I wanted to. I got the biscuits and gravy and it was really good and the two eggs on the side were well seasoned. I usually always have to put some more salt a pepper on my food but here I didn’t feel the need to. The service was great the waiter I had was kind and gave the right amount of time between letting me look at the menu and getting my order and also giving out the ticket. Overall a great experience. The one thing I would recommend is letting people know the difference in the full plate and half plate for the Biscuits and Gravy. The full plate was slightly too much for me. Other than that would highly recommend and will probably start making The Glass Cat one of my usual go to spots."
"We stopped here before heading to the outlet malls. Hashbrowns were extra crispy for all four of us and we were very pleased. I ordered the fried chicken on a biscuit. The biscuit was nice and flaky and the chicken was juicy. My dad ordered the biscuits and gravy and he thought the gravy was excellent. Definitely recommend."
"While the outside seems rather uninviting, the second you step into the building you feel welcomed and warm. The food is really good, great portion sizes. Such a cute place! Service also was stellar."
"While traveling my son and I happened upon this place. It was so amazing we came back a second day for breakfast. The eggs, bacon, toast and hashbrowns were ALL amazing. My son thought his country fried steak was ok. I loved the french toast (we shared some). We took pancakes home to my Mom, one pancake she ate over two days it was so big! We had enough leftovers for one other meal as well. The next day we came back to try their Huevos Rancheros—amazing!!!! My son loved their biscuits and gravy! This is not the least expensive breakfast around, but you can definitely make it into two meals."
