"Charged us $28 for two drinks and two shots. Bartender got us kicked out for questioning why she was up charging us for the shots. Not a good experience. Charged us $14 for two shots which is definitely not right. They made us pay anyway and got aggressive as we left. They tried to instigate a fight as we were leaving. Not cool."

"Started going to the "Hawk" in fall 1982. Drinking age at that time was 18 for 3.2% beer. It was a beer only joint back then. I was there for just about every Thursday barrel night.......which meant I usually missed my Friday morning classes. The place has changed a lot since the 1980's. I have many fond memories of my visits to the Hawk. Wish I could go back in time and live it all over again."
