from Google"Very friendly bartenders and cute old-school style interior with stained glass art, wood floors and walls and celebrity pictures downstairs. The upstairs features an open-air patio with string lights and high-top tables in addition to another bar. When we were there, the beer tap upstairs was out of order, so we had to go downstairs to order more rounds. That wasn't a big deal and is likely a temporary issue. One of the nice things about this place is that you can start a tab at either the downstairs or upstairs bar, then order from either one, and it will tally everything up for when you check out. We didn't order food, but the food we did see looked tasty. Unlike the drinks, you have to pick your food up at whichever bar you placed your order. My one criticism is that they didn't call for last call, they just told us they were closing and asked us to finish up. We weren't given the option to order another round, which we would've done if we knew. But that isn't a big deal at all. Overall, we had a nice time catching up (we were in town visiting family we only see every few years, if that)."
"If you love to receive cold food that takes an hour instead of the 15 minutes that they quoted (when they’re not busy), bad service because the guy bartenders would rather ogle the fraternity girls instead of doing what they’re paid to do, or what I can only assume is horrible management. THEN LET ME TELL YOU THAT THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! While I know some people absolutely love to pay for cold fries and wings, I’m not a huge fan. Some may even call me crazy! Just not my jam… This could all be resolved by simply repurposing the East TV that faces the wall (no tables there and the people forming a line while waiting for the staff don’t watch it) into a… and get this…. order pick up screen! WOW! You may think this is a revolutionary invention that would CHANGE THE WORLD. If only, but no it’s really just common sense. An efficient system that would free up your bartenders and other staff that it seems you’re paying to interact with their friends or try to flirt with girls (who are likely asking where there food is too and not at all interested. They’re Hangry too). Let’s throw this mention in too. Student night = 1% forth year college students / 99% underage kids with fakes Bring back Tonic, this place is trash 🚮"
"DO NOT GO HERE. I WAS PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED BY MULTIPLE EMPLOYEES FOR NO REASON AT ALL. EXPLANATION BELOW. We went to celebrate my girlfriend’s 21st birthday on Saturday night. We had just arrived and I was on my 2nd beer. I played a little joke on my friend and tapped the top of her bottle with my bottle to cause it to fizz up. It was less than half way full and so barely overflowed and maybe 1-2 drops went on the floor. An employee at this point tapped me on the shoulder and told me I was “too drunk and spilling beer everywhere” I was super calm and nice and tried to explain to him I was our DD and the whole situation because he was very clearly confused as to what happened. At that point you could tell he knew he was wrong but couldn’t admit it so he got agitated and loud telling me to leave now. He started flashing his light and before I know it my beer I had purchased was ripped from my hand and I began getting assaulted by employees and shoved out. I never once raised my voice or showed any anger or aggression. Just because that employee who was clearly new couldn’t admit he was wrong I was assaulted and thrown out. After that my entire group of 10+ left and went to Leroy’s which is a FAR SUPERIOR BAR. I recommend strongly going there instead. I’ve never once had a problem there. Logies employees really messed up my girlfriends 21st birthday."
"Declan was an amazing bartender. Great guy all around. Was my boys 22nd birthday and he cued up some of his favorite songs and took photos for us. Great guy."
"HORRIBLE SERVICE IF YOU’RE NOT WHITE. Went in for some wings (a group of THREE people) and waited almost an hour for wings before we got up and left, mind you they were all the same flavor. Had to go up to the bar to ASK for a waiter, being told “we don’t have servers until 7” (this was 5 mins before 7:00) BUT saw a guy taking these girls’ orders and everyone else. Larger groups of people came in and was waited on and served within 10 minutes!! I’ve lived in Lawrence for 10 years now, so this is mind blowing to witness first hand. DISAPPOINTED. A waitress who must’ve just got there tried to help but we told her we were waiting on our wings still. Waited a few more minutes, noticing people who came in AFTER us already having their food.. we decided to leave. The girl was trying to be helpful and get the other guys attention to check on our order, but we didn’t see a reason to keep waiting any longer. She apologized and wasn’t even our waiter. JOEY, who took our order- either didn’t care to check on our order or didn’t even put our order in. Either way, very unprofessional and discriminatory. THEN they tried to charge us for the food we didn’t even get…??? DO BETTER LOGIES."
