"Absolutely amazing experience, first time here and definitely not the last! As someone who works in hospitality, I always pay close attention to how guests are treated, and this place nailed it. Our server was fantastic: warm, attentive, and genuinely kind from start to finish. The manager on duty, Amy, personally greeted us and made us feel incredibly welcomed. It’s the little touches like that that make a big difference. The food? Fantastic. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great service and even better eats! Dessert: Baklava Cheesecake"

"Yulisa made our experience personal and memorable! My partner and I had the Mad Greek burger which was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and we had their soup and salad that you can’t go wrong with but Yulisa made this a 5 star experience showing us their various selection, especially their tiramisu! Mad Greek has never disappointed and our server Yulisa showed why!"

"Stopped through town on our way to Maine. Grace was an amazing server. Food was excellent and loved the atmosphere. We had the spanakopita, hummus, green salad and lentil soup and they were all excellent . I even tried some Greek wine which I enjoyed"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I came barreling into Lawrence, Kansas, half-mad on black coffee and the lingering fumes of a three-state run from the Colorado line, convinced the bats were finally closing in for good. The neon sign of the Mad Greek hit me like a divine revelation sliced from Olympus and dropped onto Massachusetts Street by some cackling god with a sense of humor sharper than a switchblade. Inside: pure controlled chaos. Zorba on the speakers, ouzo in the air, and there, moving through the smoke and laughter like a benevolent fury, was Riley: server, shaman, high priest of the gyro. The woman doesn’t take your order; she reads your soul, nods once, and disappears into the kitchen like she’s off to wrestle the Minotaur herself! Moments later the Greek Plate descends: a steaming Mount Olympus of lamb carved from the gods themselves, tzatziki thick enough to caulk the gates of Troy, rice that whispers ancient secrets, and pita still warm from whatever furnace Hephaestus is running in the back. Beside it, the Greek salad: crisp, defiant, dripping with feta and olives black as midnight sin. One bite and the bats scattered. Two bites and I remembered why mortals still bother with this planet. The atmosphere? Electric Dionysian madness contained in brick walls: laughter ricocheting off bottles of retsina, plates clattering like cymbals in some ritual I was now unwillingly part of, and Riley orchestrating it all with the calm of a man who has stared into the abyss and handed the abyss a menu. Five stars isn’t enough. This place is a full-blown religious experience disguised as a restaurant. If you leave the Mad Greek anything less than reborn, you weren’t paying attention. "Delicious, I’m a sucker for a good Gyro which the Mad Greek has expertise in. Feta cheese is extra but for the prices it’s similar to other restaurants. Two tables nearby had some kind of flaming dish served while we were eating which was awesome."
