"Today I tried ordering some treats online that I could pick up later in the day. I went to pick them up and Jay, the manager on duty, snapped, "He'll wait on you over there." Before I had even opened my mouth to let them know what I needed. No greeting, no "Hi how are you" nothing. Just snapped my head off because I, a paying customer, had the audacity to come in and pick something up. Oh, the horror! I got home, and guess what? My order was incomplete. So I called the story. A young man (whom I later identified as Sean), clearly had no idea how to process this error. So he hung up on me. So I packed up my incorrect order and headed back to the store. When I arrived, Sean greeted me with "are you the woman with the order?" I said, "you mean the one you hung up on?". He said (loudly and defensively), "Hey, I put you on HOLD!" Nope, you hung up on me, Sean. Eventually, Sean ad Jay (yep, same one who snapped my head off not 15 minutes earlier) managed to process a complete refund. A complete refund, you say? Yep, because I will never spend another dime of my hard earned money in that store. If you can't at least be nice and somewhat pleasant, why bother? Do you honestly think I can't get gingersnaps from Amazon?"

"This world market was pretty cool. There was a lot of neat items from various different places. The prices were probably average for world markets. The store was mostly clean. The workers were fairly friendly."

"Drove here from another city just to see the store. Website said they open at 9am. We get here at 930am still not open. I called no one picked up. We see multiple people waiting. Someone comes to the door and says they open at 10. For the next 20 minutes I see a dozen people walking up to the door. Still no one opens. Several people walked up to the door walked away then left."

"I love this store. Excellent products and selections. But... You NEVER have enough help, especially cashiers. I counted 20 people in line today, and the line was barely moving. I walked back to the food section, picked out a few things, and walked back to the front , 16 people in line left my things and decided to shop somewhere with not 20 people in line."

If you’re looking for your favorite drinks, snacks, spices, or quick foods from around the world…this is the place! I had so much fun traveling the world while in the store. They also have a beautiful selection of dishes, and other housewares. Plus outdoor and indoor furniture. As well as candles, bath items and even stationary! Highly recommend visiting World Market!!"
