What People Are Saying
from Google"My wife and I stopped in to see what Geo’s was all about since we drive by all the time, and we couldn’t have been happier! Not only do they have a meat market with pricing that is affordable and not outlandish, they also have a bakery with tons of fantastic options. The gentlemen working the counter gave us samples of some of the sweets they had, and they were very tasty! I got a rich chocolate cheesecake ball, and my wife had a cinnamon and nutmeg cheesecake ball. We ended up grabbing some breakfast pastries (for dessert), a couple of pounds of wings, and Brazilian sauces to dip our wings in. The wings were already marinated, so it was easy to fire them up and get them going. We tried them plain before using either sauce, and I have to say, sauce was not necessary. They were packed with flavor and had plenty of meat on the bones, more than enough for the two of us. I’m a weakling when it comes to spice, but I tried a couple of their most popular sauces. Each one had its own distinct flavor, and I would recommend both. However, if you’re not a spice person, take it easy on the Mendez Original—it will kick your ass. 10/10 recommend. Great local spot, great people, and great service."
"I noticed this bakery tucked away in the corner of the plaza after dining at one of the other restaurants. Coincidentally, I had a assignment during the same week which involved dining at a cafe (I study interior design at the local college). After skimming Google to learn what Geo's offers, my husband and I decided to pop in for brunch. We were immediately greeted by the cashier and were graced with patience as we reviewed the selections. The cooks were kind enough to create a customized sandwich to accommodate our vegetarian lifestyle. We also ordered an americano, a cappuccino, and a couple of cream puffs. Everything was absolutely delicious! The cream puff with the dulce de leche flavor is embedded in my memory- it was one of the tastiest pastries I've ever eaten. The overall atmosphere of the cafe reminds me of "togetherness." It is casual and great for quick bites or meeting with friends. If you're in a hurry, the staff is happy to put together a to-go order for your convenience. Don't forget to snap a selfie at the flower wall to the right of the doors on your way out!"
"This was a cute spot, I went to get dessert because I saw on google photos they had a bunch of options. I bought 3 things for $20 and all 3 cup desserts were extremely sweet. Tasted like straight condensed milk. I ended up not being able to eat any of the 3. If you like really sweet stuff, this is your spot. If you like balanced desserts, avoid."
"Ive past by this place several times and always wanted to see what it was about. Went in today for the first time and was blown away by it. The overall atmosphere and vibes were phenomenal and the customer service was excellent. Highly recommend checking this place out for something unique in Olathe!"
"This family run gem is new, and my family loves it. My husband may be finding his way there almost daily. My daughter and especially recommend the ground beef pastel for those unfamiliar with the selection of Brazilian foods. It's a lot like an empanada, and it's our favorite. We also order extra French bread to take home and eat for the following couple days (make sure its kept in plastic bags or zip lock so it doesn't get too hard to fast). The sweets are wonderful, and the family who owns it and service workers are top notch. You should definitely try it. They've got way more than just sweets (which is rare for a lot of our local bakeries)."
