The staff was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything from the moment we sat down to the time we left, which really elevated the visit.The food overall lands at about 4 out of 5 stars. I ordered the cucaracha shrimp, and while the portion was generous and the dish was nicely presented, it didn’t resemble traditional cucaracha shrimp in flavor or appearance—they were saucy rather than the crispy, shell‑on style I expected. The rest of the table’s dishes were solid and enjoyable, but nothing that completely blew us away.Where Mariscos KC really shines is in its atmosphere. The space is colorful and welcoming, with a festive, coastal feel that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. Between the great service and the fun vibe, it’s still a place worth visiting, especially if you value hospitality and ambiance as much as the food."

"This was a google search and turned out to be amazing. Highly recommend. The service was very fast, the food amazing and dessert huge servings. I would recommend this place anytime. I got the fish and shrimp, it was difficult to understand our waitress and I was surprised when a whole fried fish appeared, but it was very tasty and the garlic dipping sauce was amazing. I’m not sure why they served rice and fries together but the rice was good and I dipped the fries in the garlic sauce. The highlight for the table was the drink served in a cored out pineapple."

"Wow, what a gem of a find! They were decked out for the holidays which I ALWAYS appreciate. I don't even care what holiday, just the extra atmosphere and spirit adds so much to the experience. The man who seated and served us was so friendly and checked on us at the perfect times. The food was incredible. A twist on seafood that I've never had but was done so well. We had the chips and queso, birria ramen, carnitas tacos, unsweetened tea (no sweet), and a Senorita (adult beverage). Everything was delicious and a very fair price. We will definitely be back to try the crab boil!"

"Delicious food. It all tasted so fresh. The shrimp cocktail was very good, as was the Aguachiles w/green sauce. The Barbacoa loaded nachos were fantastic. Adding this to my list of places to go when in the city."

"Wife has been hyping this spot up and I finally caved in and took the family. I had the burrio Ramen....UHHMAZING!! it suited the cold weather outside, don't let the jalapeño make you think it's spicy because it is not. The wife got the crab boil and that was very tasty. The crab was not fishy, the cajjun sauce they covered the boil with was so so good! The queso dip was a no go for me, compared to the rest of the food the queso dip was a disappointment but that didn't bother me because the rest of our food was superb. We will be back"
